The fragile body of Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga took another turn for the worst this week in France. L’Equipe, France’s leading tennis magazine, recently spoke with Tsonga about his current knee injury. Sustaining the knee injury during his quarterfinal loss to Andy Murray at Wimbledon, Tsonga will undergo a final MRI before the start of the US Open.
Tsonga will drop semifinal points at the Toronto Masters, and fourth-round points from the US Open if he remains sidelined.
