Monfils Injuries Knee In Johannesburg

February 6, 2010 · Print This Article

Top seed Gael Monfils aggravated a chronic knee injury while losing in three sets to Feliciano Lopez 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (1) on Saturday.

Suffering from a shoulder injury to begin the season, Monfils struggled with knee tendentious throughout last year.

Apparently, the flamboyant Frenchman forget to get his knee’s taped before taking the court. Monfils remains entered in next week’s Rotterdam event.
