Tennis Voted As Most Positive Sport

In a pole conducted by the Barclays Spaces for Sport, tennis was voted the No. 1 most positive role modeling sport.

World No. 1 Roger Federer captured 18 percent of the total votes for most positive men’s role model, while Steffi Graf captured 20 percent for most positive female role model.

The poll also revealed that sportsmanship (66 percent), health and fitness benefits (57 percent), teaching discipline and abiding by rules (60 per cent) are all considered more significant benefits of playing sport than actually winning (22 per cent).
