Baghdatis Leaves Adidas for Country Pride

January 6, 2010 · Print This Article

Australia Brisbane International TennisCypriot Marcos Baghdatis, who has gone through his career wearing Nike and Adidas apparel, recently left the three stripe company to support his national flag.

Sporting a “Love Cyrus” symbol on his athletic apparel in Brisbane, Baghdatis has failed to comment on his change from Adidas.

The flamboyant world No. 42 remains steadfast in his desire to return to his career high of No. 8 (2006).

Baghdatis, who lost to Tomas Berdych on Wednesday in Brisbane, will now head to Sydney to participate in the Medibank International.
