Current world No. 3 Novak Djokovic will star in an upcoming TV show that will air in 2011.
The Serb, who has never shied away from the limelight, will portray the first King of Yugoslavia in the 10-part mini series.
The series will depict Djokovic as Aleksandar Karadjordjevic (first monarch of Yugoslavia), who was assassinated in 1934.
Djokovic’s brother, Djordje, will play the younger King during the series.
With a budget of three million euros, the series will begin taping next year with a release date of early 2011.

This should do wonders for his tennis game. I always knew Djokovic pushed himself to hard on the practise court. Oh wait….no I didn’t!
Big things are coming up for Novak in the future.
Actually Novak declined this about a week ago.
Reports state that this gig is still on.
He can not be serious! Novak might wind up having a more successful acting career.
This rumour has been denied in his website (serbian part). Thanks God, 2010 is going to be his best season so far and I don’t want anything to disturb that. Hey Nole, let’s concentrate on tennis and you’ll do great. Plenty of time afterwards if you want an acting career!
