Agassi To Play Outback Tour

Mr. Agassi is enjoying his retirement but it seems like the Vegas native is getting a bit of the tennis itch once again. Agassi has committed to play the Cancer Treatment Centers of America Championships Oct 8-11 at the Surprise Tennis Club in Arizona. The event will be a single knock out event taking place over the four days with players competing for a $150,000 cheque and ranking points. Obviously the real winner here is the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

Agassi is set to debut on the series with a match against Mikael Pernfors (see 1993 DuMaurier ‘Rogers Cup’ Championships).  Others in the field including Philippoussis, Ferreira, Courier, Martin, Kickstein and Jimmy Arias.
