I heard your podcast for the first time today. I also subscribed to you on itunes, so I’ll go back and check out some of the past shows. I enjoyed the tennis banter.
One comment about the Simon discussion — I can’t tell you guys apart yet, but one of you is sure that Simon knows he can’t win a Slam, and I think that’s just completely wrong. YOU may believe he cannot win a Slam, but I’m quite sure he feels that if the stars align, and the top guys have a bad day or two, he can absolutely win. Every player in the top 10, outside of Davydenko, believes he can win a Slam. I have no doubt about that.
And really, you saying that Gulbis believes more than Simon was sort of a giveaway — you like Gulbis’ game and believe if he got it together, he could be a contender. You believe Simon is too short (though you didn’t say that) and does not have the power game to win in today’s tennis. That is very different than SIMON not believing.
