Both David Nalbandian and Nikolay Davydenko have pulled out of their respective Davis Cup events. Nalbandian is still struggling after his knee injury and will be replaced Leonardo Mayer. The Czech Republic vs. Argentina match is set for July 10-12 in Ostrava. Davydenko has had his own set of injury problems the past year or so. He withdrew from next month’s Davis Cup quarter-final tie against Israel, team captain Shamil Tarpishchev said. Tarpishchev said he had allowed Davydenko to miss Russia’s first two ties in this year’s competition. No word on his replacement yet.
